IRONHIDE Battles : Premium Series vs Customized

Ironhide Voyager class has been one of the greatest figure in the TF movie line. And definately will be interesting to put up a review on this one especially the Premium Series release. So now the battle begins.

Fresh from the box and if you click the pictures to view the high resolutions pictures, it is still wrapped with its transparent bands.

And have to say that Premium Series in Voyager Class is considered one of the best especially Ironhide. It does look very glossy and think have to wear my shades to complete this review..haha.

And here is a side by side comparison between the Premium Series on the left vs the Customized Ironhide. And now is the posing round and let's start with our Premium Series Ironhide first in six different pose angles.

And now is the time to see the pose from Customized Ironhide. Same time given for the pose just to be fair for both contenders. :)

And here is some close up between the Customized Ironhide and the Premium Series Ironhide. And for sure Premium Ironhide eye turn blue... (anyway, why it is painted in blue!!??)

And here is the collapsed hard top shell... looks nicer if it is custom re-painted.

And now you make the verdict. To me I think both are equally great as I like the glossy look of the Premium and of course custom re-painted figure is always better then the regular release... another reason why it is a win-win for both is because both looks great in BLACK.

Review on Hasbro Deluxe Class Stealth Bumblebee

Today we going to look at the new Deluxe Class Stealth Bumblebee from Hasbro. This is the packaging comparison with the previous version of Bumblebee in original color scheme.

This is the back of the Package and both are in MOSC (Mint on Sealed Card).

This is just a close up on the box before I am going to cut open and take out the figure inside.... hard to imagine what is coming next right?

Okay, this is not double vision but just a front and back of wired BB in car mode but already cut opened the box.

This is how the bottom of Stealth BB looks like and what is obviously different is the head of BB. And not sure you can recall during the movie, this is how BB looks like during the battle mode. Also you will see most of the parts are changed from black color resin to Metallic color resin which is great, just like the one used on TRANS SCANNING Takara Tomy Series. Some of the part are being painted from yellow base plastic part which is not good as once there is a chip, will expose the yellow base color.
This is the top view, most of the part are actually repainted to Black and not the original black from the resin used. The front and rear bumper is made of Black color resin.

Okay now is the transformation part......it is almost there :)

This is how the front view looks like after full transformation. And the Canon ball weapon is molded using the Metallic resin which is a plus in this figure.

And here is the back view.
A few comments to conclude my review, the Stealth Bumblebee is for sure a MUST for TF fans eventhough it is the same BB mold use except the battle mode head.
Pro : It has better quality... less flash cut to remove which is the termination point of molding process. Most of the parts are painted which mean it looks less plastic and the Metallic resin used on most part will definately worth to keep this in your TF collections.
Con : Bad color combinations. And a bit too pricy, again considering it only come 1 pcs in every carton of asst. Deluxe class.

And here is the close up on the Battle Mode head of BB.

TRANSFORMERS PREMIUM SERIES - Deluxe Class

These are currently on my eBAY Malaysia. So please check it out and will update with more pictures soon....

TRANS SCANNING from TAKARA TOMY

These are the special edition, exclusive to only in Japan version. The CORE is specially made from metallic resin and all the add-on parts are more details and the regular TF Movie versions.

TS-01 which is the Optimus Prime and TS-02 is the famous Bumblebee in Camaro 08 and both really the best in the TF Movie line so far.

Finally the best part is that it it 4-in-1 mode.

Takara Tomy Henkei Series - Decepticon

And these are the Decepticons..... and dunno why always the bad guys are being made more nicer than the good guys. Probably it is made in that strategy to get the bad guys sell well in the market. Anyway all these is a must have for Transformers fan.

Takara Tomy Henkei Series - Autobot

This is the Henkei Series of Classic Transformers. Each one of them are awesome. Very details in Robot Mode and also in Vehicle Mode. Fully articulated and posable in any form and great for display.
The previous release from Takara under the ENCORE Series is on G1 TF where is it a 1984 released version. The ENCORE is a bit stiff, point of articulations is lesser and not as posable compare with the Henkei Series, however there are still G1 TF fans out there who does collect them. Forgot to mention that ENCORE Series is more pricier then the Henkei Series.
Hasbro also came out a similar toy lines for this Classic TF, the only comment that I have is that Hasbro paint job is not as good as Takara and it does not come with a Trading Card and the color scheme is a little bit different. The only exception I give is on Bumblebee as I personally think that Hasbro's made a more beautiful Bumblebee than the Henkei version.
